Meerdere normen: conform ISO 13287, GB T 28287, ASTM F2913, SATRA TM 144, ISO 24267, ISO 20344, JIS T8101, JIS T8106 en JIS T8107,tot vaststelling van de belangrijkste internationale testmethoden voor schoenen op het gebied van gladwerendheid.

Frictiecoëfficiëntmeting: voert een vooraf bepaalde belasting uit op verschillende materialen zoals hout, PVC, keramische tegels of een specifiek materiaal, stelt de wrijvingstijden en -snelheid vast,dan meet de enige wrijvingscoëfficiënt om de gladweerstand van schoenen te beoordelen.

Dual 1000N-belastingcellen:Verticale en horizontale belastingcellen van 1000N registreren elk de dynamische wrijving die wordt veroorzaakt door zijdelingse tractie, zodat de kinetische wrijvingscoëfficiënt nauwkeurig kan worden berekend.

Precision Test Conditions: glijsnelheid 0,3 plus of minus 0,03 m per seconde, statische contacttijd 0,5 s,en een normale kracht van 500 plus of minus 25N voor Europese maat 40 en groter of 400 plus of minus 20N voor kleinere schoenen.

Computerbesturing en complete installaties: computergestuurd gebruik van een 19 inch monitor, glicerine smeermiddel, een testvloer van geperste keramische tegels of roestvrijstalen plaat, drie glijproefmodi,en armaturen zoals de 7 graden wighoekmeter, schoenenhouders en voetprothesen.
